Studio 3 Module “Windows” · Lecturer: Christian Lange · 2025 · MA Visual Communication ZHdK
Inspired by window grilles and concrete poetry, I put some excerpts of Foucault’s “Discipline & Punish: The Birth of the Prison” and various texts of incarceration literature into form.

Do Not Open!

Studio 2 Module “New Ecologies: Fossils of the Anthropocene” · Lecturer: Carolina Marquez Bernard · 2024 · MA Visual Communication ZHdK
Airplanes link the world, leaving traces in their wake – visible and invisible. Contrails in the sky, greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, craters on the ground. Sitting in an aircraft separates us from the earth below, from time and distance—yet, at the same time, we are reshaping the future through their accelerating effects on global warming and globalization.

Hello!

Postercompetition ·  2025  ·  Client: collettivo.sc4  ·  Format: F4  ·  Digital print
Submission for the poster competition Verso l'altro. Competition text: “We are restarting the Arecibo Experiment (…). Through visual language, you are invited to express your vision of life on Earth by imagining contact with a hypothetical form of cosmic life.” Inspired by the coded constructed languages of astrolinguistics used for interstellar radio transmissions, I propose—using a humorous approach—to send cute ASCII artworks in order to invite extraterrestrials to visit Earth. Selected as one of 20 winning designs.

ba thesis – bewusster kontrollverlust

Bachelor Thesis Visual Communication  ·  2014  ·   HGK FHNW Basel
In my bachelor's thesis at HGK FHNW Basel, I investigated analog random processes as creative catalysts. The fictional exhibition title “Beyond Paradise” served as the basis for the investigation. By consciously relinquishing control, I wanted to surprise myself and challenge myself as a designer. My conscious reaction followed various random processes. Chains of associations were generated that are linked either formally or in terms of content. The result is a variety of posters that are not based on an overall concept, but rather take up new approaches again and again and could be continued at will.

About

Hi! I’m a Swiss graphic designer based in Zurich, Switzerland. I’m passionate about the smell and feel of paper, vibrant colors, storytelling, simplicity, finding answers, not always following the rules, and my four-legged assistant, Tamo. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from HGK FHNW Basel in 2014 and worked as a graphic designer at Claudiabasel Grafik + Interaktion for almost ten years (2015–2024). I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Communication at ZHdK in Zurich and working as a self-employed graphic designer. I’m always open to collaborations, projects, or chatting over coffee.
